Project Management
Project management is a function of industrial engineering. It is a specialized function, and the managers are much more learned in the process than industrial engineers. Industrial engineers are primarily concerned with the overall function and improvement of the company where project management is primarily concerned with the cross functional and strategic completion of specific projects and their impact on the company. The project management can be applied to any project, industry, and sector. It includes a number of elements such as four to five project management process groups, and a control system.
