Mohsen A. Jafari is a professor and Chair of Industrial & Systems Engineering at Rutgers University and is a principal at the Rutgers Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation, where he overseas Transportation Safety Resource Center and Information Management Group. His current research interests include control and optimization of large complex systems in transportation and energy applications. He has been principal or co-principal to over $18.0M R&D funding from the US and international government agencies and industry (including, US National Science Foundation; Office of Naval Research; Department of Energy; Department of Defense; FHWA and The NJ Department of Transportation; New York and New Jersey Port Authority; NYC Metropolitan Transit Authority; Port of Piraeus – Greece; Allison/General Motors; Siemens; Honeywell; DNV-GL Energy; Anhui-Kelli, China; and Merck & Co.). His work has led to three patents and a number of major technological advances and product development in transportation (Plan4Safety for traffic safety; Berth planning optimization for port operation), in energy (BEAM for building energy asset management; Micro-grid planning and control, Cyber risk assessment tool for power grid), and in manufacturing (3D printing for sensors and actuators). He actively collaborates with universities and national labs in the US and abroad (including University of Cambridge – UK; EPFL-Swiss; and Poly-technique of Milan - Italy). He has advised seventeen Ph.D. theses and nine post doctoral & research fellows. Presently, he is advising additional seven Ph.D. theses. He is a member of IEEE and was recipient of the IEEE excellence award in service and research, SAP curriculum award and two Transportation safety awards. He has authored and co-authored 70+ refereed publications, over 60 conference proceedings, and has made over 100 invited and contributed presentations around the world. He has been consultant to several fortune 500 companies, and national and international government agencies.

Emmanuel S. Eneyo is a Professor of industrial and manufacturing engineering at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He received his BSISE and MSISE degrees from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University. Dr. Eneyo joined the SIUE faculty in 1989 as an Assistant Professor in industrial engineering. He served as the Program Director of industrial and manufacturing engineering from 1999 to 2005 and successfully got manufacturing engineering program through its first ABET accreditation visit in 2004. He has over 20 years of combined industrial work and consulting experiences with such companies as Bechtel Power Corporation, Rockwell International, Rohr Industries, Roho International, American Steel Foundries, Sierra International, Shell Petroleum Development Company Nigeria Limited, to name a few. Dr. Eneyo's consulting activities over the years have resulted in several professional journal publications and international conference presentations.Professor Eneyo is a senior member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) and Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and a member of Alpha Pi Mu (Industrial Engineering Honor Society), Tau Beta Pi (National Engineering Honor Society), and the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). He advises the SIUE student chapter of National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Dr. Eneyo is also a licensed professional engineer in the State of Illinois, USA.

Eugen Axinte got his PhD in 1998 from “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi-Romania . He is now a full Professor of Machine Manufacturing Department , Director of Doctoral School of Machine Manufacturing and Industrial Management Faculty and member of The Senate of Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, Romania. His research interests include the applications of new materials (metallic glasses, glass , glass composites, ceramics ) in industrial practice . He has published more than 100 papers in journals, books and conference proceedings, including papers in journals indexed in the Web of Science – Journal Citation Reports such as Materials and Design , Journal of Non Crystalline Solids , Journal of Applied Physics, Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Physik (ZAMP). He has also published 12 scientific books and faculty courses. In the year 2012 he was also organizer of a International Scientific Exploratory Workshop entitled Opportunities ,challenges and perspectives of using of the new materials ( graphen, glasses, metallic glasses, fullerenes) in industry. He is on the editorial board of several journals including Materials & Design by Elsevier, Recent Patents on Materials Science by Bentham Science Publishers ; Modern Mechanical Engineering by Scientific Research Publishing - SCIRP . He has participated in the scientific committee of several conferences and serves as a reviewer in some high impact factor journals : Materials & Design; Materials Science and Engineering B; Journal of Alloys and Compounds ; Solar Energy ; International Journal of Thermal Sciences.; Journal of Materials Processing Technology; Sensors . Dr. Despo Ktoridou is currently an Associate Professor and Head of Management & MIS Department at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus. Dr. Ktoridou holds a B.Sc. (1991), M.Sc. (1993) In Computer Engineering and a Ph.D. (2000) in the field of Expert Systems from Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University in Russia. Dr. Ktoridou has worked as a Senior Computer Engineer for different organizations in Cyprus (1992 – 1999), from 2000 – 2007 as an Assistant Professor of Educational Technology and currently as an Associate Professor of MIS at the University of Nicosia. Dr. Ktoridou’s research focuses on areas of Information Communication and Social Technology application in education, Innovative Teaching /Learning Pedagogies in Higher Education and Engineering and Technology Management education. Dr. Ktoridou has presented papers in numerous refereed international conferences and has published several papers in refereed journals. Dr. Ktoridou participated in EU and local funded programs and has been invited by foreign universities as a guest lecturer

Dr. Hakan Bütüner is a graduate of TED Ankara College. He received his B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Middle East Technical and MBA from Bilkent Universities; and Ph.D. in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri-Rolla. Dr. Bütüner has been active both in academic and professional lives for several years as a planning and programming manager and as a project manager in overseas, and started up and acted as a chairman of a new venture for bringing different and strong international franchising concepts to Turkey. Later he worked as a strategic planning and business development director of Bayındır Holding; as a SPEED (operations & profit improvement program) country manager of Siemens Business Services; and then as a general coordinator of Bell Holding. During the same periods, he was also lecturing in the Business Schools and/or Industrial Engineering Departments of Bilkent, Bhosporus, Bahcesehir and Yeditepe Universities. Currently, he is lecturing in Business Schools of Bahcesehir and Ozyegin Universities. Dr. Bütüner, currently, is acting as the affiliates of several US companies in industrial management and engineering consulting, training and software solutions field. He is also acting as the founder-president of Institute of Industrial Engineers – Turkish professional chapter. During his career path, Dr. Bütüner has participated in several projects both in Turkey and abroad. Additionally, he is the board member of Institute of High Performance Planners in USA. Author has several publications and books, and at the same time honored by the decision sciences society Alpha Iota Delta.

Ayman Batisha holds a PhD degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University (Egypt, 2001). He has been practicing, consulting, training, and researching in Sustainability for over twenty-four years. He taught graduate courses at Cairo University. He is a certified Environmental Consultant “Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)”. He is a certified Consultant Civil Engineer. He has published more than 80 research papers and articles focusing on the areas of Sustainability, Environment, Climate Change, Water Knowledge and Civil Engineering. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of Practice, Progress, and Proficiency in Sustainability Book Series. He is the founding General Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Sustainability. He has been awarded as the prestigious Author and the Editor-in-Chief, from USA publishers. He has been honored with the first prize for the best research by League of Arab States. He is a five-time winner of the Certificate of Appreciation; three-times from Ministers of Water Resources, Environment, and Public Works, and two-times from Cairo University, Egypt. He has been the Chairman of the First European Conference of Mining Engineering. He has been in the Editorial Advisory Board of numerous prestigious international journals such as Advances in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Limnological Review, and also in the editorial board of a number of international journals. He has served as an International Committee Member for numerous International Conferences. He is an advisory board member in the Sustainable Development and Sustainability Institute of East Africa (SDSIEA). He is a member in Egyptian National Scientific Committee on Problems of the Environment, SCOPE, established by the International Council for Science (ICSU). Also, He is a member in National Committee of Egypt for The International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme (IGBP) research programme that studies the phenomenon of global change. He is selected as the only Arab Reviewer for "The 2013 Supplement to the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories: Wetlands (Wetlands Supplement)" that extends the content of the 2006 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Guidelines. He has been selected by Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as Expert-reviewer to ensure quality and comprehensiveness of Climate Change 2014: Mitigation of Climate Change. This report responds to the request of the world's governments for a comprehensive, objective and policy neutral assessment of the current scientific knowledge on mitigating climate change, provides a comprehensive assessment of all relevant options for mitigating climate change through limiting or preventing greenhouse gas emissions, as well as activities that remove them from the atmosphere, and concludes four years of intense scientific collaboration by hundreds of authors from around the world. He has been invited to be an Editorial Board Member of the Environmental Development, the Transdisciplinary Journal of SCOPE published by Elsevier. He is a Reviewer of four Journals published by Elsevier: Journal of Hydrology; Journal of Sustainable Cities and Society; Urban Climate and Journal of Applied Soft Computing. In 2010, published in Germany and printed in USA and UK, Dr. Batisha has his first book whose title is "Structural Health Monitoring of Offshore Structures Using Artificial Intelligence Technique" been published.

Professor Kameswara Rao did PhD from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He was teaching in IIT Kanpur continuously since 1966 and joined Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia in 2004 and continuing. He held several academic and administrative positions during the last 50 years of service. He published more than 150 papers in Journals and Conferences and also authored 4 books, the last one in 2011 published by John Wiley and Sons. He is serving as a reviewer and editorial board member of technical journals. He was a consultant to several projects of national importance.

Dr. Ahmed Azab is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and Director of the Product Lifecycle Management Research Lab at University of Windsor, Canada. He has a successful record of industrial experience and publications. He has been involved in projects with local industry and has been effective in acquiring funding as sole Principal Investigator. He was one of three researchers to receive a $1M CFI-LOF/MEDI-ORF grant supporting research infrastructure. He has been recipient and nominee for a number of international and national research excellence awards. He serves as a reviewer for a number of international journals; he also sits on the editorial board for Industrial Engineering & Management.

Sharfuddin Ahmed Khan is a Lecturer in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management Department at University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates since 2009. He holds a Masters degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from National University of Singapore. Currently, he is pursuing his joint PhD degree in Engineering Management from Université du Québec, École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS), Montreal, Canada and University of Sharjah, UAE. He has five years of industrial experience in the field of supply chain management, warehouse management and inventory management at BASF Chemicals and ExxonMobil. His research interest includes but not limited to supply chain management, warehousing, quality management, logistics, multi-criteria decision making, and performance improvements.

Farayi Musharavati obtained his PhD in Manufacturing Systems Engineering at University Putra Malaysia in 2008. The same year he joined Qatar University as an Assistant Professor.Professor Musharavati holds a BTech. (hons) Degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering, an MSc. in Manufacturing Systems and Operations Management and another MSc. in Renewable Energy. Teaching interests include: Manufacturing Systems Design, Industrial Automation, Systems Simulation and Modeling, Manufacturing Processes, Production Technologies and CAD/CAM. Since joining Qatar University, he has been awarded six research grants in the following areas: (1) Location-Allocation Modeling, (2) Healthcare Process System Improvements Using Simulation (3) Applications of Lean Manufacturing Principles, (4) Plant Energy Efficiency and Optimization, (5) Sustainability and Cleaner Production in Gas Processing Operations and (6) Renewable Energy. He is an active member of five professional societies/organizations since. He has also benefited from a Commonwealth Scholarship which was awarded in 2003.
